The bright idea

This is a blog for novelty ideas and items, a blog for everything creative and out of the box, to celebrate surpassing limits. All ideas belong to their respective authors, and not me, unless stated otherwise.

Ombre Lips
Yay or Nay?
For the “white” use concealer or highlighter. This often makes lips look bigger and plumper. What I like to do is instead of using white or skin color, I use a much lighter almost nude pink, that way my lips don’t look too faded.

DIY Plastic Mat Gauntlent Lace Up Bracelet Tutorial from Anna Evers for Las Manualidades here. I know this has already been posted on Tumblr here, but I think a real discussion has to continue about the use of the term “slave bracelet”. I’ve mentioned it before when panjas/handpieces have been called “slave bracelets” and cuffs have been called “slave cuffs” and how distasteful and inappropriate I think it is. What do I do? I leave a message at the site asking if there is a better name for that piece of jewelry or I message the person on Facebook in private. Tip: spray painting plastic does not often turn out well when the plastic is bent.
